Covid-19 Safety

The safety of our employees and customers has been one of our top priorities since 1986. Many things have changed over the years, but our commitment to safety isn’t one of them. In light of the current pandemic, our aim is to provide a safe working environment for everyone during these unprecedented times. While we know that there are many questions and unknowns, we want to assure you that QUA-SER is committed to following the most current CDC guidelines for construction sites.

As new information becomes available, we ensure our employees and subcontractors are aware of the changes and have the appropriate tools and education necessary for compliance. As always, we use a team approach, working closely with our employees, clients, and subcontractors. If there are any individual concerns, we will do what we can do to make everyone feel more comfortable.

In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, we have developed new safety procedures, as follows:

• Designated supervisor assigned for all Covid-19 questions and exposure or symptom reporting
• Daily required Covid-19 questionnaire for everyone entering the jobsite
• All employees encouraged to stay home if exhibiting symptoms
• When exposure or symptoms are reported, we follow CDC self-isolation guidelines
• Masks, disinfectant wipes, and hand sanitizer supplied to all employees
• Masks worn on jobsite
• Social distancing/virtual communication when possible
• Limited or elimination of tool sharing
• Superintendents clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces periodically throughout shifts
• All employees are expected to practice proper hand hygiene
• Toolbox talks weekly serve as means to supply accurate information
• Job site posters to serve as reminder of CDC recommendations and employee rights
